UniChrom (tm) controls HPLC instruments using standard interface
which is common for all types of HPLC systems.

Standard controls for gradient program edition and execution in all types of LC.
Modification can be made in off-line mode as in online but without LC setpoints actual change. Method setpoints loaded into LC after going to online mode.

The instrument control form is developed with universality and compatibility in mind.
The user does not have to choose - if the method is isocratic or gradient (it is obvious).

HPLC controller services

• The pump states are displayed in volume and flow terms.
• The pump programs can be entered in (time,rate) or (time,volume) terms.
• The column has the oven temperature sensor.
• The system pressure is displayed as the column sensor. The alarm conditions is monitored through the over(under)ranging the pressure.
• The system makes difference between plunger and syringe pumps, so the ability of "loading" the pump is used only for syringes.
• The separate step of regeneration of column is made for microcolumn HPLC devices.
• Autosampler parameters are controlled as usual from Samples/Parameters table.
• Scanning UV/Vis spectrophotometers are controlled through this interface.
• The gradient profile is displayed while editing the program and on the chromatogram graph.
• When the HPLC system supports the "Pause" mode - it is possible to "suspend" the analysis, make the changes and continue the analysis.
