Gas chromatograph Trace-2000 and UniChrom

Limitations

• The instrument uses some kind of magic called "column evaluation" to determine pneumatic resistance of the column. The user don't have to enter the column parameters, but it is hard to guess, which is column length and id is in the box.
• The instrument can not work in carrier velocity programming mode.
• FID electrometer cable too long.
• Signal dynamic range is not wide as Agilent / HP-6890 , Shimadzu GC-2010, Crystall-5000.

UniChrom specific

Gas chromatographs "Trace-2000" is connected to PC via serial port. UniChrom drivers supports several such devices (up to 16) simultaneously. UniChrom provides full remote control for that device either for thermo and pneumatic channels.

This instrument driver is designed as "Networked Chromatograph"

Since the instrument has the same configuration model as Agilent HP-6890 , the zone remapping, which is typical for instruments with limited number of gas regulators, is not required.
