What is new in UniChrom (tm) 5.0.2.x UniChrom V 4d
		- UniChrom 4d is not a new program, not an expensive option for program but a new way of working with GC,LC, GC/MS, LC/UV etc data in single framework.
 - UniChrom n-VisiOn is going to share driver format with UniChrom 4d. For instance UV/VIS spectrometer working in n-Vsion would work as HPLC dtector in UniChrom V.

 5.0.1.x UniChrom V5.0.1.829
		- New spectrum window displays GC/MS and LC/UV data for each sample point in chromatogram window.

 5.0.1.525
		- Internal data storage is in 8-byte IEEE float (double) representation (15 significant digits).

		Note:
Files, saved by this version can be read only by this one version or later. - Architecture revision for 64-bit compatibility
 - The HP/Agilent Chemstation file converter now correctly detect sampling frequency for 3.x file versions.
 - Included driver for PolyChrom ADC
 - True X-platform built-in report generator
 - The "Calculator" page (built-in spreadsheet with peak-oriented functions) now is printed as the part of report.
 - Fixed several problems with "Info" page and modification flag
 - Some configuration entries is stored in config files (.ini) instead of registry. This violates MS guidelines but improves compatibility and ease of migration for user settings.
 - Default driver directory - UniChrom\drv, then all the others. Next step to install all drivers to this directory instead of windows\system(32).
 - Lots of common code with n-VisiON
 - Spectrum arithmetic take in account the layer shifts across X-axis. Layers for operations can be numbered absolute or relative to the layer being processed.

 5.0.0.x UniChrom V
UniChrom had introduced new new concept. This make possible not only
simplify user interface but increase the robustness of the entire system.
Besides it made possible the UniChrom for Linux
development. The 4.x program family uses the same file format - no changes.
		  The changes are inside.

		4.7.11 - codename "Red-Cat", September 2006
The version is intended as stabilising release. Contains tons of improvements and bugfixes.
		4.7.11.677

          - Developed the instrument driver for working with chromatographs "Crystall-5000.1", Crystall PM2 using the software control panel from Chromatec.

          - Developed the common program interface for file converters both for Windows and Linux. AIA Net-CDF file converted successfully compiled under MS Visual Studio and GCC.

          - Introduced the user authentication module (common for version 4 and V). Added the technical description chapter about activation the user-authentication system.

          - Developed the new user interface control - Table with unicode support, Clipboard copy/paste operations with formatting and HTML support. The control is used partially in UniChrom 4.x and almost everywhere in V and V-Linux.

		4.7.10 codename "Tabby-Cat"
"Tabby Cat". The stripes are caused by moving all the system architecture to UniChrom V concept. The version is intended for parallel UniChrom 4 and UniChrom 5 development.

          - Developed the support of Shimadzu-GC file format.

          - Developed the new ADC - MSS-ADC. The driver supports capillary electrophoresis systems PrinceCE (www.princetechnologies.com), and also conductivity detectors TraceDec (www.istech.at)

          - Started the migration if internal UniChrom structure to unicode support.

          - Most of the UniChrom system modules made compatible with Linux compiler.

Started the intensive UniChrom for Linux development.

can de run in whole, as partial sequence or a single sample from sequence.

		  - New file converter set. Has only interest to Russian users:

			  - Internal file converter "ASCII file XY (*.xy)". Stores
in ASCII-file not only signal values but the time like:

				( xxxx.xxx yyy1.yyy yyy2.yyy yyy3.yy), where 1,2,3 - data of corresponding
				layers. xxx.xxx - time.

different documents can be merged into the batch.

		  - Every data layer remembers the "Mode" of chromatographic
device (either GC or LC) which was used for acquisition.

		4.6.8.544 - Jul, 2004
Major changes - the version minor changed from 5 to 6.

		  - Next release of MiliChrom-5
			driver.

		  - First release of MiliChrom-A02
			driver.

		  - Added UniChrom plug-in module manager (such as UniChrom-DHA),
which allows to show all available modules, set it's parameters and
			start the module executuion.

		  - New Style of signal definition. For this purpose the new page prepared
			- "Signals". Signals define the channels prepared for measurement,
the measuring layer parameters and even the layer colour. New measurement
is prepared according to the signals table.

		  - The look and feel of calibration engine had changed. Now all the
calibration tables are seen in single table with all information about
calibration: response type - height or area, linear or logarithmic,
type of interpolation, if the calibration is relative, all the interpolation
coefficients with R-squared. The table can be easily copied to clipboard.
The calibration graph is drawn immediately as the user selects the
			cell of the table.

		  - The relative calibration. Our implementation of internal standard
method using absolute calibration. The analytic response is the ratio
of responses of selected component and other, choosen as standard.
If the calibration is relative, its state stored on disk and restored
			carefully.

		  - The calibration curve can be cubic (if suitable).

		  - The signal data can be easily integrated - the resulting curve is
the time integral of inital curve.

		  - UniChrom supports user interface themes
			- change how the program look with the help XML encoded themes.

		  - The Configuration Editor now contains
the GC instrument configuration dialog, which can help graphically
			configure the GC flow/pressure controllers.

			mode.

		4.5.8.491 - Jan, 2004

		  - UniChrom supports of several "modes" for GC instrument.
This allow easily switch between different methods which have similar
data processing, but different chromatography conditions. The switching
is done with single mouse click. Chromatography data layer remembers
which GC mode was used for data acquisition

		  - UniChrom allows to draw the library (or calibration) chromatogram.
Just create the new layer, add one peak manually, then select - "Processing
			- Smooth - Spectrum Normalisation". After this operation any
added peak would allow editing all of peak parameters - position,
height, area, asymmetry - you will get a line of ideal Gauss-shaped
			peaks according to entered parameters.

		  - UniChrom automatically creates data processing scenario (when there
was not one). The scenario can be easily modified to correspond current
			analysis.

		  - Chromatogram data in UniChrom can be differentiated d/dt (see the
			"Smooth").
